Kids, you can pour mix, scoop, dumping, squish, splash and oozing at our Sensory Explorations on Thursday, January 3, at 11:00 am at the Jackson Hole Children’s Museum. Little ones can explore textures, patterns, color and their own curiosity in this very popular teacher-guided program. The part: the mess is not in your home!
The 2018-19 Backcountry Film Festival National Tour: Celebrating the winter human-powered experience premiers at Walk Festival Hall on Friday, January 4th from 4:00-7:00 pm. Produced by the Winter Wildlands Alliance, this film is a celebration of the human-powered experience and a gather place for the backcountry snow sports community. Adventure, environment and climate, youth outdoors, ski culture – you’ll find it all in this award-winning lineup.
Would you like to try out a new pair of Nordic skis or a fat bike? Then head out to Turpin Meadows Ranch on Sunday, January 6th from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm for the 3rd Annual Free Nordic Ski & Fat Bike Day. Take the shuttle bus, or carpool with friends and come out and enjoy free Nordic ski and fat bike demos, Nordic ski lessons, BC Nordic and snowshoe tours, kids corral with sledding and hot food and drinks. Plus, there’s a raffle for a fat bike!
Are you interested in learning more about Blockchain and Bitcoin technology? The Jackson Campus of Teton Science Schools is host a course that will provide an overview of Blockchain technology, including its history, evolution and the future Monday, January 7-18 from 7:00 am – 10:00 am. Anyone aspiring to learn new technology or having an interest in pursuing a career in Blockchain technology can take this course.
Come and sing with the Jackson Hole Chorale, Teton County’s Community Choir. Rehearsals for 2019 start on Monday January 7th at 7:00 pm at the Music Center in the Center for the Arts. No audition is required. They are preparing for their annual spring concert featuring Broadway musicals and welcome all new voices!
