About the Artist
Watercolor, Drawing, Pen & Ink, Photography, Screenprinting
Much of my time is spent marveling about the exceptional beauty and need to care for the world around me, a notion that I translate into my fine art and photographs. I am passionate about exploring, story telling, the natural world, conservation, and the Grand Tetons (seriously, can’t drag myself away).
Through photography and silk-screen printmaking, I capture stories and inspire people to consider their relationship with nature. My photographic work is dominated by wild, expansive landscapes and the experience of exploring the great outdoors.
Delicate illustration of threatened and endangered spaces, places, and species takes center stage in my printmaking work. Both my photographs and prints are rich in color and texture, giving viewers an opportunity to immerse themselves in a slice of time, place, and wildness.
I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree (photography, printmaking) and a minor in Environmental Studies in May of 2017. My intent is to pursue a career working as a photo editor in the world of outdoors media, wherever that may take me.
Currently, I reside in beautiful Driggs, Idaho where I work as a full-time photographer and artist. I am available for freelance, commercial work and commissions.
